Women’s Perspectives Reflected in Selected Mainstream / Alternative Media A survey was conducted after airing the clips on the 1325 UN resolution. Though there were a few listeners that recognized the topics of the radio clips the majority had not heard of Resolution 1325 before.
WMC produced 60 radio clips of two minutes called “Kadathurawen Eha” which primarily focused on women’s issues. The clips were aired on the Sinhala commercial service radio station, and received many positive responses from the listeners.
