The WMC short film festival and children’s art exhibition award ceremony was held on 29th March 2021 at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute. The theme of the short films and art work submitted was on Unpaid Care Work.

The screening and award ceremony of the Women and Media Collective short film competition was held on the 31st of October 2016 at the Namel Malani Punchi theatre. Awards for competitions 2015 and 2016 were presented on this day to short film and short film script winners.
