WMC along with other non-governmental organizations participated in a rally in commemoration of Human Rights Day 2008 at the Lipton Circus. It was followed by a meeting held at the Public Library. • WMC along with other Women’s Organizations, released a letter of condemnation on 03.10.2008 regarding the recent grenade attack on the residence of Mr. J.C. Weliamuna, well known and respected human rights lawyer.
