WMC organized a meeting with Sinhala and Tamil language women bloggers, the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. The meeting was held on the 9th of September 2011. It was attended by over 20 bloggers including several bloggers from Jaffna.
On national level, the campaign consisted of newspaper, television and radio advertisements and also a hoarding. WMC ஆனது அதன் 7வது வருடாந்த திரைப்படவிழாவினை 2011 மார்ச் 21 – 23 ஆம் திகதி வரையில் புஞ்சி சினிமா திரையரங்கில் நடாத்தியது. திரையிடப்பட்ட படங்களானவை அயன்யோவ்ட் ஏஞ்சல் பீப்லி லைவ் (Iron Jawed Angels, Peepli Live) மற்றும் (The Milk of Sorrow) என்பனவாகும். இத் திரைப்படங்களுக்கான நுழைவு அனுமதி இலவசமாக இருந்ததுடன், பெருந்தொகையான மக்கள் திரைப்பட விழாவுக்கு சமுகளித்திருந்தனர்.
