A short drama festival and a Musical Show were held in Colombo on the 28th November 2006 to celebrate International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The theme of this event was A Tomorrow Free of Violence. The festival was open to the public free of charge and WMC made this opportunity to raise awareness among the public on the need to stop Violence against Women.
