Transforming lives: The story of returning migrant workers

This study by the Women and Media Collective is on Sri Lankan returnee migrant women and, brings to life the stories of thirty women from the Kurunegala District in Sri Lanka. The women had been employed as domestic workers in West Asian Countries and have since returned home. The women speak of  how the decisions to migrate were made, how they managed their incomes, family relations and of  their dreams and aspirations for a better life for their households.
