HerSpace training for women New Media producers

Women New Media producers, women’s activists and members of women’s groups were part of a training workshop on the methods of using online and social media tools safely while publishing their community messages to the online sphere. The New Media training workshop was held on the 27th of June 2014, headed by Nalaka Gunawardene, Science writer and weekly columnist of Ceylon Today and Ravaya together with Manori Wijesekara, Asia Editor of Global Press Institute.

The New Media training provided an opportunity for women in Sri Lanka, who attended previous workshops, to discuss their thoughts and ideas while also clearing out any concerns related to the subject.
