This year, we are celebrating two significant events on our calendar, International Women\u2019s Day on the 8th of March, 2021 and Women\u2019s History Month in the month of March 2021 through our online platforms by sharing with you insightful media posts on our blog<\/a>, website and social media sites.<\/p>\n

For the purpose of celebrating women\u2019s day and women\u2019s history month the Women and Media Collective (WMC) has created engaging online content from a feminist and women\u2019s rights perspective, that\u2019s drawn from Sri Lanka\u2019s context.<\/p>\n

These media messages will be shared with you throughout the month of March 2021, focusing on the areas of increasing women\u2019s political representation, recognising Unpaid Care Work, Migrant workers rights, women\u2019s leadership, online hate speech, and LGBTIQ rights.<\/p>\n
