The first was a press conference about the rising cost of living, held several days before IWD. On IWD, the 8th of March 2012, they organized a rally at the Fort Railway Station, protesting the same issue. On the 10th of March 2012 they organized a historic event where a IWD celebration was held in Mulativu in the Northern Province, for the first time after the end of the war.
