ACTFORM produced a documentary on Ariyawathie from Hakmana, Matara (in the Southern Province) who was inhumanely tortured while working in Saudi Arabia in 2010 by her employers who hammered nails into various parts of her body. WMC ஆனது 2011 உள்ளுராட்சித் தேர்தலில் பெண்களின் நியமனங்களையும், பெண்களுக்கான வாக்குகளையும் அதிகரித்துக் கொள்வதற்கான பிரச்சாரங்களில் ஈடுபட்டது. (பிரச்சார விபரங்களுக்காக ஊடகப் பக்கத்தைப் பார்க்குக.) WMC வினால் மொத்தமாக 181 பெண்கள் வரும் உள்ளுராட்சித் தேர்தலுக்காக முன்வைக்கப்பட்டதுடன், 72 பேர் நியமனங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டனர். இவ் வேட்பாளர்களில் 11 பெண்களுக்கு உள்ளுராட்சித் தேர்தலில் தங்களின் உரிய மாவட்டங்களில் வாக்களிக்கப்பட்டது.
