The second training of a trainer’s workshop (TOT Workshop) of the Project on Empowering young women by raising awareness on feminism for using the training manual on Justice Equality, Feminism for Justice prepared to raise awareness about feminism was held on April 30th, 2023 at the Nature Gardens Hotel in Yakkala for the Gampaha region. The 25 participants in attendance were from networks build by the Women and Media Collective from State Universities in Sri Lanka. Uniquely this phase of the project also brought in male participants to contribute to the insights on Justice, Equality and Feminism The program was conducted by Ms. Sanjeewani Rupasinghe, Senior Lecturer, University of Kelaniya, Sumika Perera, Executive Director of the Women”s Resources Center and Dr. Prabha Manuratne, Senior Lecturer University of Kelaniya and coordinated by Ms Viola Perera, Senior Program Manager, Women and Media Collective .
