A 30 second animated TV advertisement was aired in all three languages on the 22nd and 23rd February 2006, requesting that the CFA be protected. This advertisement was aired on Sirasa TV, MTV, Shakti TV and Swarnavahini.

A series of Sinhala and Tamil television programmes on the issues faced by Tsunami affected women were telecast on Channel Eye and TNL in July 2005. Topics discussed included female participation on decision making, right to land, domestic violence and violence against women, livelihood, and conflict, peace and the tsunami.

WMC broadcast a series of radio talk shows on SLBC Sinhala channel in July 2005. Issues pertaining to women affected by the Tsunami were discussed in these shows.
