Women activists met with the National Peoples Power (NPP) to present the Women’s Manifesto containing women’s demands from the country. The women’s manifesto was addressed to candidates of the parliamentary elections 2020 so that the demands made by women in the manifesto will be recognized and included in their party manifestos. NPP’s Colombo District Candidate Niroopa Serasinghe, Kaluthara District Candidate, Dr. Nihal Abeysinghe and National list candidate, Dr. Harini Amarasuriya were present at the meeting.
